New Chat-n-Read: "A Big Guy Took My Ball" Read-Aloud

Chat about giving people the "benefit of the doubt," then enjoy the read-aloud, "A Big Guy Took My Ball" by one of my faaaaavorite children’s authors, Mo Willems.

Have you ever met someone and assumed they felt a certain way about you without knowing? That has happened to me before…I once assumed a girl didn't like me because she wasn't talking to me, but I later found out, she was simply shy. Now, she is one of my best friends! I could have lost out on a lot, if I had not taken the time to get to know her. Life is a whole lot better when we assume the best out of people, not the worst.

Then enjoy a fun read-aloud by some of my favorite characters in "A Big Guy Took My Ball" by Mo Willems. In the book, Piggie is upset a big guy stole her ball! Gerald attempts to get it back, but when they meet the "big guy" who took the ball, they find out a whole different story about the ball--and the "big guy!"
